The 2009 Camry hybrid is rated at 33 mpg city and 34 mpg on the highway. Ford is expecting to get at least 5 mpg in the city, putting the Fusion at 38 mpg, putting it near the 40 mpg of the smaller and significantly less powerful Civic hybrid.
